Al Qabas: A Modern Digital Newsroom for Kuwait’s Leading Publisher
Al Qabas is a leading publishing company in Kuwait, established in 1972 and publisher of one of the country’s largest newspapers. Eurisko designed and engineered its new digital platform: a high-performing portal covering digital articles and video-on-demand content, accessible on desktop and mobile.
The challenge
The publisher’s previous website and mobile app were showing their age: slow performance under high user concurrency, poor indexing and search across an archive of millions of articles, a dated user experience, and a low-performing technology stack that constrained the newsroom.
What we built
Eurisko assessed the existing platforms, ran user research with the audience and the team behind the platform, then designed and developed a responsive CMS powering both the website and the mobile app.
