WIZZO: MBC’s Social Platform for Gamers
WIZZO is MBC Group’s gaming platform for the Middle East: gamers livestream their play, upload gameplay videos and watch other players, earning tickets through likes and comments for chances at real prizes. Eurisko engineered the platform across mobile and web.
The challenge
A social gaming network is three hard systems in one: user-generated video at scale, live streaming with co-hosts, and a ticket-and-prize economy, all needing dynamic control by MBC’s operations team without release cycles.
What we built
Eurisko gathered the business requirements, implemented native mobile applications and developed the website (recently uplifting the design of both), plus an admin panel that lets MBC Group manage and control the interfaces dynamically. The backend runs on a microservice, auto-scaling serverless architecture with the web touchpoint in React/Next.
Livestreaming with co-hosts
Real-time streams where gamers show their strategy and gameplay, joined by co-hosts.
Gameplay video network
Upload, categorize and watch gameplay videos across games and categories of interest.
Tickets & prize economy
Engagement-driven tickets converting likes and activity into chances at real prizes.
Dynamic operations panel
Games, categories, banners and videos managed live through a responsive admin panel.
The results
A user-friendly, engaging mobile app and responsive website, with a dynamic admin panel that lets the region’s largest media company operate the platform and its large user base, with chat and interaction knitting the gamer network together.
