Eurisko Academy: hands-on tech training for the next generation of engineers
Eurisko Academy is Eurisko’s talent development program in Lebanon: intensive, hands-on training tracks for undergraduates and recent graduates, run by the company that builds digital banking platforms, media apps and AI products across the region.
More than 3,200 graduates have taken part since 2016 and more than 300 candidates have been certified since 2024. Outstanding graduates are considered for roles at Eurisko.
Talent built the way real teams work.
Eurisko Academy exists to close the gap between what students learn and what industry teams ship. Its programs are intensive and hands-on: candidates build real projects with the technologies Eurisko uses in production, guided by Eurisko experts.
The results are on the record: more than 300 candidates certified since 2024, in tracks from AI and data analytics to cybersecurity, taught by more than 40 instructors. The AI and Data Analytics Academy alone brought together candidates from 15 universities.
For Eurisko, the Academy is also how its teams grow: outstanding graduates are considered for roles, including in the teams that deliver for offshore clients.
The Academy in numbers.
Eight tracks, one standard.
Each track focuses on technologies Eurisko uses in production, so graduates learn what industry teams actually ship with. AI comes first, and it runs through every track.
AI and data analytics
From foundational AI concepts to advanced analytics, with responsible-AI practice aligned with the NIST AI Risk Management Framework.
React Native
Cross-platform mobile development for iOS and Android from a single codebase.
Node.js
Backend services and APIs in JavaScript, built for fast-moving product teams.
Java and Spring Boot
Enterprise backends on the stack behind banking-grade platforms.
UI/UX design
User research, interaction design and design systems for real products.
QA automation
Automated testing that keeps releases reliable as products grow.
DevSecOps
Delivery pipelines with security built into every stage.
Cybersecurity
Protecting applications, data and infrastructure against real threats.
Trained for AI-assisted software delivery.
Software teams now work with AI at every stage of the lifecycle, so the Academy trains for it. Candidates learn AI-assisted development, from pair programming with coding assistants to AI-supported code review, and AI-assisted QA that generates and maintains test cases.
The same discipline reaches beyond code: AI-assisted UI/UX for research synthesis and rapid prototyping, AI-assisted requirements and documentation, and AI in delivery pipelines.
Every AI output is reviewed by a person. Candidates learn when to trust a model and when not to, guided by the NIST AI Risk Management Framework.
AI at every stage of the software lifecycle.
Requirements
AI-assisted requirements: drafting user stories and acceptance criteria from a brief, then refining them with the team.
UI/UX design
AI-assisted UI/UX: research synthesis, content drafts and rapid prototypes, validated with real users.
Development
AI-assisted development: pair programming with coding assistants, refactoring and explaining unfamiliar code.
Code review
AI-supported reviews that flag issues early, with engineers making the final call.
QA and testing
AI-assisted QA: generating test cases and test data, and keeping automated test suites up to date.
Delivery and operations
AI in delivery pipelines: release notes, log analysis and incident summaries.
Intensive, hands-on and assessed.
Academy programs are short and intensive. Candidates learn through hands-on projects, interactive workshops and guest lectures from Eurisko experts, applying each technology the way industry teams use it.
Graduation is earned, not attended: the Academy sets high standards and assesses both technical proficiency and practical application before a candidate is certified. Outstanding graduates are considered for roles at Eurisko, depending on the company’s needs.
Engineers, not just coders.
Software excellence goes beyond technical skills. The Academy trains the habits that make engineers effective on real teams: communication, teamwork, agile methodologies, leadership, and research and development.
It also encourages candidates to master more than one technology, because versatile engineers keep up as the industry changes.
A decade of training engineers.
Since its first graduate programs in 2016, the Academy has grown into intensive, certified tracks and a Schools Program for younger students, with each milestone published as it happened.
Its graduates also strengthen the teams Eurisko fields for offshore clients, which is why the Academy keeps its curriculum aligned with emerging technologies and client feedback. Read the stories:
Coding for school students, too.
The Academy’s Schools Program teaches school students to code with languages matched to their age: visual programming for elementary students, and web and JavaScript programming for high school students.
More than 1,000 school students have learned to code through the program since 2021. In its first academic year alone, Academy instructors taught more than 400 students across 8 grade levels, and the first Schools Program Awards recognized 25 of them for outstanding performance.
Built with universities.
Eurisko works with universities to close the gap between academia and industry. In 2024 it signed a memorandum of understanding with CNAM University Nahr Ibrahim covering training, guest lectures, seminars and workshops for computer science and computer engineering students.
