Kulna Nfuz Lleila: MBC’s Real-Time Second-Screen Game

MBC Group is the largest media company in the Middle East and North Africa, operating over 17 leading TV channels. For one of its prime-time shows, MBC commissioned “كلنا نفوز الليلة” (We All Win Tonight), a real-time second-screen app built by Eurisko.

Challenge

The challenge

The show’s format leans entirely on omnichannel play: questions appear on TV, and viewers answer on their phones. Answer 20 questions correctly and you enter the draw for valuable prizes; it is a level game where players climb until a wrong answer stops them, with coins available to continue.

That format means enormous, spiky, real-time load: hundreds of thousands of viewers answering the same question in the same seconds, with fairness and latency both non-negotiable.

Solution

What we built

Eurisko studied the purpose and business model behind the game, conducted market and technology research, and designed and developed the app from scratch, engineered specifically for synchronized, broadcast-scale traffic.

Real-time TV synchronization

Questions delivered to millions of phones in lockstep with the live broadcast.

Level-based trivia engine

Progression, draws and coin-based continues encoded into a fair, auditable game loop.

Broadcast-scale infrastructure

Architecture sized for prime-time spikes measured in hundreds of thousands of concurrent players.
