Mobile & Mobile App Development in Oman

Eurisko has driven mobile app development in Oman since 2009: part of over 500 iOS and Android applications shipped across the Gulf for banks, retailers and enterprises, now serving businesses across Muscat and the wider Sultanate.

Oman’s Vision 2040 digital agenda is pushing banks, utilities and government services toward mobile-first delivery, and the winners will be the apps that feel effortless in Arabic and English alike. Mobile development with us spans the full stack: our 200-strong in-house team takes Omani products from first wireframe to App Store and Google Play.

Overview

The region’s primary digital channel is a phone.

Across the Middle East, mobile is not one channel among several: it is the front door. Smartphone penetration in the Gulf ranks among the highest in the world, and for banks, retailers and governments alike, the app has replaced the branch, the storefront and the counter as the place where customers actually show up.

That shift raises the bar for what a mobile app has to be: always available, biometric-secure, fast on mid-range Android devices and fluent in both Arabic and English. An app that merely functions loses to the app that feels effortless: store ratings, retention curves and support costs all say so.

Eurisko builds for that bar. Mobile app development has been our founding craft since 2009, and the discipline we developed shipping banking apps under regulatory audit now benefits every product we build, whatever the industry, whatever the size.

What we build

Mobile apps that carry real businesses.

The apps we ship are not prototypes: they are the primary digital channel for some of the region’s largest institutions. Our teams have delivered mobile banking used daily by hundreds of thousands of customers, loyalty apps for multi-brand retail groups, and citizen-facing government services.

Native iOS & Android

Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin and Jetpack Compose apps when performance, security and platform polish are non-negotiable: banking apps, super-apps and products with millions of sessions a month.

React Native & Flutter

React Native and Flutter builds that ship one codebase to both stores without sacrificing user experience: our React Native practice is one of the region’s largest.

Mobile banking & fintech

Digital banking, onboarding, payments and wallet apps built to banking-grade security standards, hardened through central-bank audits and penetration-test cycles.

Consumer & loyalty apps

Retail, e-commerce and multi-brand loyalty experiences (points, tiers, offers and wallet passes) that keep customers engaged across every touchpoint.

Enterprise mobility

Field-force, logistics and internal operations apps integrated with your ERP, CRM and legacy systems, with offline-first sync for teams that work beyond coverage.

App modernization

Rescue, re-platform and redesign of ageing apps, with analytics, crash health and store ratings as the scoreboard, not opinions.

Technologies & stack

The full mobile stack, in-house.

Mobile is never just the app. Eurisko engineers the complete stack: cloud backends on AWS and Azure, secure REST and GraphQL APIs, push and messaging infrastructure, offline-first data sync, and CI/CD pipelines that ship weekly releases to both stores without drama.

On the device side we work across Swift and SwiftUI, Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, React Native and Flutter: chosen per product, not per fashion. We integrate the capabilities modern apps demand: biometric authentication, payment gateways and wallets, real-time chat, maps and geofencing, and increasingly on-device and generative AI features that our dedicated AI practice builds alongside the mobile team.

Quality is engineered, not inspected in: automated UI test suites, device farms covering the real handsets your market uses, crash and performance monitoring wired in from the first release, and store-compliance checks (privacy manifests, data-safety declarations) treated as part of the definition of done.

Industries we serve

Apps that carry banks, retailers and broadcasters.

Fifteen-plus years of mobile delivery has taken us deep into the industries where apps do the heaviest lifting. We have shipped the digital banking app of one of Lebanon’s largest banks, the multi-brand loyalty app of a regional retail group operating hundreds of stores, premium travel apps for Saudi Arabia, and broadcast-scale interactive apps for the region’s biggest media group.

That sector depth changes how projects start: instead of learning your domain on your budget, we arrive knowing how KYC flows pass audit, how loyalty economics behave at scale, and why a second of extra launch time costs measurable revenue. Explore the industries and the work:

Why Eurisko

One of the region’s most experienced mobile teams.

Fifteen-plus years of continuous mobile delivery is rare anywhere. Eurisko’s mobile practice has shipped over 500 applications and survived every platform shift since the first iPhone SDK, and that institutional memory shows in how quickly we de-risk new products.

Clients across MENA, Europe and the US choose us because everything is under one roof: product strategy, UI/UX design, native engineering, QA automation and post-launch growth, staffed by a 200-strong in-house team. No hand-offs between agencies, no outsourced black boxes: one accountable partner from wireframe to store listing to version twenty.

How we work

A process built on evidence.

Discover & scope

Workshops with your stakeholders to define users, success metrics and an MVP that earns its budget.

Design & prototype

UX research, flows and high-fidelity UI: validated with clickable prototypes before a line of code.

Build in sprints

Two-week sprints with demo builds on your device from the first sprint, not the last.

Harden & launch

Security review, performance tuning, store submission and release management for iOS and Android.

Grow & iterate

Analytics, A/B testing, crash monitoring and a roadmap of releases that compound the launch.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

How much does mobile app development cost in Oman?

It depends on scope: a focused MVP built by a compact team is a far smaller engagement than an enterprise banking-grade app with heavy integrations. Our regional delivery model gives Omani clients senior talent at significantly better rates than local or Western agencies. We scope precisely after a discovery workshop and quote a fixed roadmap.

Do you build native apps or cross-platform?

Both. We recommend native Swift/Kotlin when deep platform integration, performance or security tips the balance, and React Native or Flutter when speed to both stores matters more. The recommendation comes from the product requirements, not from what our bench happens to know: we staff all four stacks in-house.

How long does it take to build a mobile app?

That depends entirely on scope, so we fix the timeline per product rather than quoting one number for every app. A discovery workshop settles the scope, and we commit to a fixed roadmap against it. Delivery then runs in two-week sprints: you review working builds on your own device from the first sprints, and enterprise apps with heavy integrations are released in phases along the same roadmap.

Can you take over an existing app another vendor built?

Yes. App rescues are a regular part of our work. We start with a technical audit of the codebase, backend and store health, stabilize crashes and security issues first, then agree a modernization roadmap. Several of our longest-running clients started exactly this way.

How do you handle security for mobile apps?

With the discipline of our banking work: secure storage and certificate pinning, biometric authentication, obfuscation and tamper detection where warranted, plus penetration testing before release. Apps we build have passed the security audits of regulated financial institutions: that toolchain is applied to every build.

Do you handle App Store and Google Play publishing?

End to end. We manage developer accounts, store listings, screenshots and metadata, review submissions and phased rollouts, plus compliance requirements like privacy manifests and data-safety declarations for both stores.

Do you provide support after launch?

Every engagement can extend into a support and growth retainer: SLA-backed maintenance, OS-version updates, monitoring, and a continuous release roadmap. Most of our mobile clients have been with us for years precisely because launch is treated as the midpoint, not the finish line.
